Take a look at this. Personally, I think it’s kind of nuts but to each his own.
That said, I wasn’t all that impressed by his form. Not that much hip into it, which he could have used once he got half way through. And is it just me or does he stop before finishing off the last two baseball bats? He sure wasn’t walking all the steadily near the end. Maybe a human shin isn’t meant to do stuff like that? Just a thought…
Respect for trying to do something like this but I don’t really see the point. Then again, I don’t see the point of most of those record attempts so it’s probably me.
Thanks to Nopstar for the find.

Though I agree with you about his form, I must say that I have seen this baseball-bat breaking before. Sometimes at Kyokushin-Karate tournaments, there is a demo of shinkicking one or two baseball bats through the smaller end of the bat.
I love seeing these things smashed by the way :-)

@Bert: It’s a classic demo and I’ve seen it loads of time before too. But not in this way, going for so many bats to break. Seems a bit pointless to me. And a big risk for injuries too.
But smashing things is indeed good. :-)

Madness like most of these pointless record attempts. I don’t think his shin will ever forgive him after that.

Look at the damage he did to his shin! What a dumb ass!

Guess who got picked last for the schoolyard baseball team?
(This comment is not “a bit spammy” BTW.)

No worries Chris. :-)

Hmm – I suppose if he holds the world record he can leverage that for selling kicking development programs and such. That would be my guess.
Wim says
True, he could leverage that “title”. I hope he doesn’t have to repeat the performance too much though. Or he might end up having a program for crippled martial artists… :-)
